Hi there! Well, as of last week, I am now officially in my last trimester. Once the puking stopped, this pregnancy sure has flown by fast! My glucose levels have been fine so far, which is good. Tristan has been as active as ever, and has been getting the hiccups alot lately. We went to the doctor yesterday for a regular checkup. My blood pressure was fine, and I've finally gained some more weight. 6 pounds in the last 4 weeks! I could tell my belly had gotten bigger. I should gain about a pound a week from here on out. I gained more weight on a diabetic diet than before-strange. I've also been having a few painless contractions here and there. The doctor said that as long as they are not regular and don't last real long, then that is normal and will be okay. They are called Braxton-Hicks contractions. I had to get a shot of Rhogam yesterday too, and it did not feel so good! But, on to the exciting part of the doctor visit, I had a 4D ultrasound. It was really neat getting to see what Tristan looks like before he is here. He was surprisingly still and cooperative, only a few kicks at the ultrasound tech. In one of the pictures, his umbilical cord is hiding his face slightly but you can see a little smile. It is really sweet. So far it is 3 to 3 on who he looks like. Justin and I can't really decide on who we think he looks like. His estimated weight is 2 pounds and 13 ounces, which is in the 47th percentile for his gestational age. He was head down, which is perfect for delivery. But there is no guarantee that he will stay that way for the next 10 weeks. I just hope he remembers how to get back in that position!
Crossing his little feet
There's the little fist that has been punching me!
