Hi everyone! I hope that everybody had a wonderful Christmas! Ours was great, busy, but great. Before Christmas, we went to see the lights at Bellingrath Gardens. Tristan loved looking at all the lights and did great riding in his stroller. He would start to fuss a little when we would stop, but as long as we were moving he was happy. It was wonderful being off of work for Christmas since we had so many people to visit. We went to Justin's grandparents for Christmas Eve dinner and then to my Aunt Kay's for lunch on Christmas Day. Later that afternoon we went to Justin's Dad's to visit. Justin had to work the next day so Tristan and I went to hang out with my mom's side of the family. We stayed at my Grandmother's house that night and had Christmas there the next day. This was the first year we have been able to have Christmas at my Grandmother's since Hurricane Katrina. A few days later we went to Orange Beach with my dad for a couple of nights. The weather was absolutely perfect and Tristan got to dip his toes in the ocean for the first time. We got him a little beach hat and sunglasses-it was so cute!
I started back at work last Monday. It has been nice getting back to work and seeing all my friends but it is so hard to leave my baby at home! Justin and Tristan seem to be surviving okay though. Justin said a few of the nights were pretty rough but I think it will get better with time. Evidently a bottle is not exactly what Tristan wants in the middle of the night. He has gotten to where he will sleep 6 to 8 hours the first stretch and then 3 to 5 hours the next. It has been nice only having one middle of the night feed!
Tristan turned 3 months old on the 9th. I weighed him tonight on our scale and he was around 14.5 pounds. He has been in size 2 diapers for a few weeks now. We are going to have to move to the big tub soon because he is about to outgrow his infant one. He is still talking lots and can sit up pretty well with just a little support. He loves to sit in his bumpo seat. His hair hasn't fallen out yet but it is thinning some. He has a bald spot in the back and above his left ear. It took me a while to figure out why he had one above his ear but I noticed that is where he rubs when he is tired. Oh well, its just hair, it'll grow back! Well, its almost bath time and somebody is getting fussy so I better go. Hope you enjoy the pictures!
