Tristan has had another great month. He had an ear infection at his 9 month check-up and was put on antibiotics. His ears were still infected at his 2 week follow up appointment, so he was started on a different antibiotic. And then at his next appointment 2 weeks later, his ears were finally better! He never seemed to act like they were bothering him at least. He is doing even more new stuff now. He waves and says "bye bye," will give you five, and makes Indian noises. He has started standing on is own. He hasn't quite figured out how to take a step without holding on to anything yet but he will stand there for a while. And he's also started giving kisses-slobbery, open-mouthed kisses of course! He hasn't really whined much lately, so therefore no "mamas." Oh well. He still eats like a champ and has been trying some new "big boy" foods. He loves any type of fruit and he even likes tofu!
We have been going to the pool still, but not the one conveniently located across the street from our house. One of the other pools in the neighborhood has a one foot pool and he seems to like it better. He can touch when he is in his float and can walk around as if he were in a walker. and boy is he fast! (I just wish the one across the street had a one foot pool!)
We went to Atlanta with Justin's family a few weekends ago and had a great time. It was the first trip we have taken since Christmas, and the longest that Tristan has ever had to sit in a car seat, but he did great. We went to the aquarium and Tristan seemed to like looking at all the fish. The next day, we went to Six Flags. I was a little worried about how Tristan would do, but he was great. He liked riding around in the stroller and looking at all the people. He even got to ride the little train. He was grinning the whole time.
got to get comfy to eat his bottle
playing at the pool
my favorite kind of laundry
playing in the hotel mirrors
headed to Atlanta
He loves chasing around his train
at Six Flags
standing like a big boy
playing with his new toy
he got to hold the spoon that day
must be a yummy hand
