Sorry it has been so long since the last update. Life has been much busier since I started back at work, and its much harder to type with Tristan in my lap than it used to be! Last Monday was Tristan's four month b-day, and Tuesday we went to the doctor for his check up. He weighed in at 15 lbs and 8 oz and was 23 1/4 in long. I could definitely tell he was getting taller. He had to get some more shots, but didn't do too bad, and even smiled at the nurse when he was done screaming. He has really become a talkative little guy, and loves to blow bubbles. He has also discovered his feet and can get them in his mouth. He can roll from side to side on his back and will occasionally go from tummy to back. He is getting pretty good at sitting up, but not quite ready to do it all on his own. He will walk if you hold his hands. He has even started laughing, which is the cutest thing ever!! He is definitely working on a tooth or two-he is constantly drooling and gumming everything in sight! We had gotten into a pretty good sleep routine at night, but he got a cold a few weeks ago, and now he doesn't seem to sleep more than an hour without waking up. He is eating an extra feed at night now too, which the doctor said was probably just him going through a growth spurt. I had plans of getting him into his crib because he is starting to outgrow the basinet, but I guess it will have to wait a little longer. The sleepless nights are all forgotten though when he wakes up in the morning and gives you the biggest, slobbery, toothless grin!

Well, while I've been typing this, Tristan has been laying on his back playing on his mat. I just looked over and he was on his tummy! Of course he did it when I wasn't looking!
