Tristan Update

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!!! We spent Wednesday night in Pensacola with my Dad and Mary. It was our first overnight trip with Tristan, and I didn't over pack too bad! We went for a walk on the beach but it was a little too chilly to dip Tristan's toes in the water. On Thursday, we ate lunch with Justin's family and had a nice visit. We made sure to bring home plenty of yummy leftovers!

Tristan is 7 weeks old now and still growing like a weed! I had to start a "too small" pile for his clothes and he is in size 1 diapers. He has been talking and smiling more, and is good at following the fish on his mobile. We took him to mom's day out for the first time last Monday. He doesn't really have to start going until I go back to work in January, but I wanted him to meet his teacher. And this way if she had any questions about him, she could call and it wouldn't wake me up. I need to get used to being away from him for a few hours too. It was hard leaving my baby with a complete stranger, but his teacher was really nice and she said he did great.

We haven't had as much "photo shoot" time lately, but I've posted the latest.

Tristan is 1 month old!

Wow, time is really flying by! I can't believe it has been a month already. Actually, Tristan was 1 month last Sunday. He has been doing good these past few weeks. He had a little bit of a cold for about a week, but thankfully he is over that now. He is still eating great. We had a doctor's appointment last Tuesday and he weighed 9 pounds 10 ounces. That's 3 pounds in 1 month. What a little porker! I could tell he had grown and was starting to fill out but I didn't think he had gained that much. Tristan had to get a shot this week too. He handled it pretty well. I think it scared him more than it hurt him, and he was over it as soon as I picked him up. I handled it okay. Tristan has started having more awake time during the day. He has started smiling and talking some. He really seems to like his fish play mat-and mommy likes it too because that's when she can get things done with both hands! He is really good at holding his head up and likes to stand up and bounce. He has started liking bath time, which is good because at first he acted like we were torturing him. He is usually in a pretty good mood in the morning, so we have been doing picture time. I posted some of the pics-well, a lot of them. There were too many to post them all, but its too hard to pick just one when you're that darn cute!!!

Happy Halloween!

I guess he was getting hungry
