Hi everyone! Wow, it has been a busy few weeks! Well, we finally went and picked up the baby bed from Babies R Us. They didn't have the dresser in stock, so we will have to wait a little it longer to get it. The bed wasn't too hard to put together and it looks great! We got the bedding washed and on the bed and it looks perfect in the room!

This past Saturday, we had our first baby shower. A big THANK YOU to all those who helped and came to the shower. I was slightly overwhelmed at first to have that many people in my house, but we had a good turn out and Tristan got a lot of really great stuff. He will definitely be one very well dressed little boy! When Justin got home from work that day, we got the bassinet and the stroller put together-we are getting pretty good at putting stuff together. Now I am just working on getting everything washed and put up. It has been fun going through all the baby stuff, but it is a little scary to think that it won't be much longer until he is here. We are definitely looking forward to it though!

I had another doctor's appointment yesterday. They did a biophysical profile, which is just an ultrasound where they look at several specific things, such as size, movement, fluid level, and breathing pattern. Tristan's estimated weight is 3 lbs and 14 ounces, and his heart rate was 123. The amniotic fluid level was fine. Although he is usually pretty active, he was sound asleep during the whole thing . We tried to wake him up, but it was no use. I think he was enjoying the fact that he could actually stretch out since I was laying flat on my back! But of course as soon as I was back sitting in the waiting area, he was kicking like crazy. He was head down but facing towards my front. It is easier for them to make their exit if they are facing the back, so hopefully he will turn around in the next few weeks. They say it is a more painful labor if they are facing front, but I have every intention of getting an epidural so I won't have to worry about it either way! My blood pressure was still fine and I've gained a few more pounds. Overall, the appointment went well, and I go back on Monday.

In other, non-baby related news, I took my Registered Nurse Certification exam on Monday, and passed! The RNC is a national certification based on a specific area of nursing (NICU for me). I had been telling myself for almost a year now that I was going to take it, but with Tristan almost here I figured it was now or never. I am just glad it is finally over!
